The trade mission includes the following*:

 

• Two curated private events with economic development, investors, and entrepreneurs, including a new construction project showcase;

• Business sessions with business leaders, targeted contacts, entrepreneurs and investors, notably Economic Development of Lee County, Broward County, and Miami-Date County, with the Canada Florida Chamber of Commerce, with local Chambers in Naples, Fort Myers, Broward and greater Miami ;

• 4 corporate visits of leaders of the real estate industry in Florida  ;

• Transportation included between venues and cities. Each Entrepreneur is responsible to be at the determined drop-off address at designated times so they do not miss transportation ;

• One Real Estate industry conference, with ULI of Southwest Florida selected for February 2024 ;

• Flights and accommodations are not covered on this plan.

Join Francis and Sebastien on a 4-day Trade Mission across South Florida.

​

Francis Faucher is a seasoned real estate investor with over a decade of experience in market analysis, financial modeling, and comprehensive underwriting across all asset classes. He was instrumental in creating an American real estate fund specialized in land development, overseeing its structuring and ensuring compliance. Currently, as an active investor in Florida, he supports Canadian investors navigating the commercial real estate market, leveraging his extensive finance experience, deep industry knowledge, and robust network to facilitate successful cross-border investments.

The mission is co-led by local entrepreneur and accredited investor Sebastien Leduc, a recently relocated Florida resident (from Canada) on an investor E-visa, who moved his family of 5 to Naples. Both a Tech Entrepreneur and a multifamily investment veteran, he has built a portfolio of a few dozen apartments, commercial space and student housing in Quebec which he sold prior to his departure to the USA. Actively involved within the Florida and Canada tech ecosystems, the venture capital and investment scene, and himself a General Partner at FGS (Canada), Sebastien is going back to Real Estate investing in 2025 with his fund partner, Francis Faucher.

As part of the Real Estate delegation in February 2025, a signature VIP cocktail hour is hosted at Idea Architect’s North Miami offices. Innovations presented on touch-screen include a turnkey platform by Livya and D3 Creative Studio, helping accelerate new developer unit sales / rental - thanks to interactive, data-centric go-to-market tools. 

 

This is just one of the multiple evenings planned throughout the delegation.
